Wild dagga (leonotis leonurus), also known as Lion’s tail, is closely related to Klip dagga (leonotis nepetifolia). Both are similar in that they have gorgeous bright orange flower clusters and are used similarly as medicinals for things like stress relief, fever and cough. Wild dagga is one of several herbs traditionally used by the Xhosa tribe of South Africa. Its active constituent is called leonurine.
This product is a 100X powder extract, meaning 100 grams of wild dagga were used to make one gram of this extract. This does not always mean it will have the equivalent potency of 100g of herb. But this is a high quality ultra-fine powder extract that is easily soluble in water. We also carry several other wild and klip dagga extracts.
