Morning glory is a classical favorite for gardeners. This easy-to-grow flowering vine produces captivating, trumpet-shaped, flowers. It seems that there are two types of morning glory that go by this name. One variety is a cultivar of Ipomoea Nil, or Japanese Morning Glory. This one is the other, which is a variety of ipomoea tricolor. These are the same species as the ever-popular Heavenly Blue and Flying Saucers varieties, but the blooms are a radiating shade of pink. Use these climbers to decorate a mailbox, trellis or chainlink fence. Combine them with other morning glory varieties for a rainbow effect or grow them solo if you prefer a more uniform look.
