Ariocarpus agavoides is one of many varieties of cacti and succulents known as living rocks, a term coined for their ability to blend into their surroundings. Agavoides is specifically called “Tamaulipas Living rock”. The name “agavoides” derives from its resemblance to agave. Native to Mexico, it is almost extinct in the wild. These seeds produce attractive plants with slender tubercles.
