Wild dagga (leonotis leonurus), also known as Lion’s tail, is closely related to Klip dagga (leonotis nepetifolia). Both are similar in that they have gorgeous bright orange flower clusters and are used similarly as medicinals for things like stress relief, fever and cough. Wild dagga is one of several herbs traditionally used by the Xhosa tribe of South Africa. Its active constituent is called leonurine.
This product is made from high quality leontois leonurus flowers imported direct from South Africa. This product uses the entire whole flower tops, excluding any leaf. These wild dagga flowers have been enhanced with their own essence. The resulting product contains the essence of five times that of normal flowers. We also offer a wide range of leonotis leonurus and nepetifolia products, extracts and seeds. But this product is made in small-batches and is in limited supply.
