This special listing is for rare hybrid cactus seeds. These seeds are the product an SS02 mother plant crossed with the pollen of an SS01. The SS01 and the SS02 are two trichocereus forms from the same breeder (as each other) regarded as having excellent genetics, and both are very collectible forms of trichocereus. The SS01 is a Peruvianus form. The SS02 is a Bridgesii form. So to have crossed them only makes the resulting plant more desirable in terms of rarity. Intentionally hybridized Cacti are highly sought-after by cactus collectors because of their rarity. Many hybrids also combine genetics of different species to form superior specimens that contain the more desirable qualities of both parents. Crossing presents the collector with endless possibilities. If you can understand the genetic mixing behind you, this is certainly a bridgesii you want to have in your collection.
