Description
The Morich Naga (Naga Morich) is another type of Ghost Pepper. Many sources list the different types of naga as synonymous with each other. The varieties appear similar and are alike in their extreme hotness. This is the Bangladeshi version of the naga jolokia. It is believed to be a mix of the naga Moresh and the Raja Mirichi. The naga jolokia was genetically selected to make the Guiness record holder (Dorest Naga) in Dorset, England. It is reportedly nearly twice as hot as the previous record holder, the Red Savina (also available). Warning: Direct consumption of these peppers can be dangerous. Even handling the seeds can cause irritation.
